Iam surprised, now, as I count up the days on my fingers. Ten years have already passed since I was going every week, on Wednesday, to AWANA Club, clutching a 100 yen coin in my hand.
Study Time was chat time with my friends, we having laid aside our studies. Handbook Time brought my competitve side to the surface, as I did not want to lose to my friends. And Council Time found me filled with eager expectation wondering, "What kind of story shall we hear today?"
The vivid recollection of happy times is all that I remember. And of those memories Game Time is most special to me; it is no exaggeration to say that I was going to AWANA Club just for that!
As you can see, my motivations were not really praiseworthy.
Starting in April of this year I was sent to a church as a child evangelist. This is simply nothing less than a work of God filled with his grace and affection. God has led me up to now and I shall continue to entrust him with whatever is coming next, singing Halleluyah all the way...
